Instrumental landing system (ILS/DME)
“Sakaeronavigatsia” Ltd purchased instrumental landing system (ILS) produced in USA that
was installed with distance measuring equipment (DME) that gets the system into accordance
with world standards. Aircrafts are able to perform precise and automatic landing, whereas automatic monitoring installed systems provide fast movement of flow.
DME
The contract was signed with the British company “FERNAU” concerning the restoration of two route VOR/DME equipment owned by “Sakaeronavigatsia” Ltd. In 2006 it will be equipped with modern DME device that increases reliability of navigation equipment that corresponds to
strategy that involves moving to CNS/ATM technology of EUROCONTROL.
